A Short Outline of the P90x Exercise Program
P90X is a complete fitness exercise whose ambition is to get you in best possible shape and build up the synchronization and flexibility in your body along with appropriate nourishment regulations so you can make efficient eating decisions.
The program consists of three components:
- 12 selected P90X workouts that use methods ranging from weight training to extreme yoga.
- A three-phase nourishment program developed to support the workouts by multiplying stamina along with helping you get rid of the fat.
- And a P90X fitness Guide that contains all the information that you would need to use this program in the most efficient manner.
P90X also has a number of added motivational tools such as a workout calendar that can define your goals and you can keep a check on your progress and the rate of it. It also has an online support through various Internet forums that can encourage you and provide you with up to date fitness techniques.
The primary rule behind the P90X Workouts is “muscle Confusion” where new exercises are developed so as to challenge the body and develop new muscles. Muscle Confusion points out the basic defect in the rest of the workout programs, which is that the body ‘plateaus’ as it becomes used to the exercises which cuts down the efficiency of the exercise. Changing the schedules daily, new muscles are challenged and grown. Every workout is shown on a separate DVD so that you can give proper attention to it and can devote yourself to the P90x schedule.
